Richard Madeley catfished the contestants of The Circle! We may have had something to do with this deception. All the players believed that Richard was a 27-year-old lady named Judy, a nod to his classic morning show - Richard and Judy. Our real-time mocap solution provided Madeley the perfect cover as it presented him with an avatar to help disguise his identity. Audiences lit up social media when the 63-year-old awkwardly tried to dab and twerk. You can read about the response to the episode in The Sun. The nightmare has turned into a Daymare! We have been waiting for some time for this game to release and it's finally here. The Italian-based, Invader Studios, reached out to us last year about needing motion capture services. It didn't take long for them to jump on a plane and come straight to our studio in London.
We helped facilitate mocap actors to perform the roles of some of the main characters and then the Daymare became a reality when we recorded zombie cycles! The entire cast and crew absolutely smashed it! We can't wait to work with this team again!! Invader Studios previously tried to create a Resident Evil 2 fan inspired re-make but Capcom contacted them about their plans to create a remake of Resident Evil 2 and asked them to stop the production. Fortunately, Invader's efforts didn't go to waste as Capcom invited Invader to their studio to discuss ideas and eventually gave them a credit in the RE2 remake under, 'Special Thanks.' Ultimately, Invader persevered and delivered Daymare: 1998. They even recruited Paul Haddad, the original voice of Leon S. Kennedy from RE2! You can purchase Daymare on steam now! It will be available in the first quarter of 2020 for PS4 and Xbox. . Our team was very excited when we received the news that we would receive a credit on Hobbs and Shaw! This project marks our first major studio credit and what better movie to be a part of than the 700M+ global box office juggernaut. Unfortunately for us, we did not meet with Idris Elba, Jason Statham, or The Rock, but we worked with their direct stunt doubles. The stunt team was very impressive and complete professionals. What a pleasure it was to work with them! We didn't spend as much time on set as we would have hoped for, but it was probably for the best that I didn't meet The Rock. I most likely would have fanboy'd out and asked him questions about his time in the WWE. He most likely would have responded by laying down the smackdown and telling me to, "KNOW MY ROLE and SHUT YOUR MOUTH." That would have been embarrassing... What an honor it was to have joined The Crystal Maze team! The Futuristic zone is where we spent most of our time tinkering with spacecraft equipment and admiring Earth from afar. Gliding through space was relatively peaceful until we picked up Gemma Collins from Mars re-fueling station. Having her on-board changed the entire dynamics of the space station. Regardless, we had a job to do and were to provide the starship with a real-time 3D obstacle course to boost morale and physical fitness. We pushed our mocap suits to their limits when Gemma got a hold of them but even though she had a complete meltdown, according to her Instagram post she, “loved, loved, loved this game.” We did too! The Captain just instructed us to build upon our creation and we will return on the next season of The Crystal Maze! Here is a glimpse of our real-time virtual production solution that we're testing. We used a monologue from "the world famous Pulp Fiction." We want to give Ace a special shout-out for enduring multiple days of waiting for multiple computers and applications to communicate with each other, but it was worth the wait! The results are looking incredible and we will share soon : -) We are still over the moon about being involved in this project! Production began about a year ago in Prague, where we witnessed the brilliance of Ridley Scott. The set, props, wardrobe, and talent were out of this world. It was as if we stepped into a distant dystopian world that had no resemblance to our world but for the large amounts of Hennessy that flowed like the rays of the sun. This weekend will have to devoted to 'sweet', 'spicy' and chocolaty tasting 'wood crunches' of X.O. cognac. You can find our mocap around the 2:50 mark! Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy a master director at work :-) Back in September, we arrived at Twinwoods Adventure to play in their indoor skydiving facilities! Our mocap suit was put to the test when it had to withstand 400 HP of air flow. We're happy to report that our suit survived and you can see the final results in the 'Make the Call' ad by The Macallan. Here's a sample of our favourite projects that we worked on this year! Thank you to everyone that we met along the way. Let's reconnect again in the coming year!
This summer we worked closely with MPC creative and MPC commercials to record on-set motion-capture of two talented dancers! We're so proud to have been part of this amazing project and look forward to many more!

Last year, The Mocap Studio recorded some quality on-set mocap for ANALOG STUDIOS' new VOLTAROL commercial! The final advert looks incredible and we'd like to congratulate our friends at ANALOG STUDIOS on the amazing work!
